QUESTION: Do you offer indoor and outdoor ceremony locations?
ANSWER: Yes we do. There are several areas outdoors that you may choose from. In case of inclement weather, a stage is available indoors in front of our huge, two-story windows with a beautiful view of the Black Hills.
QUESTION: What are your packages and pricing?
ANSWER: Pricing is dependent on the day of the week and can be requested on our Services Page
QUESTION: How many hours does the rental fee include?
ANSWER: Daily rentals begin at 9:00AM and per county ordinance, all guests must vacate by midnight.
QUESTION: How much is the deposit, when is it due?
ANSWER: The deposit depends on the rental fee. To reserve your date, the deposit must be paid and contract signed. The remainder of the payment is due 60 days prior to your event.
QUESTION: Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?
ANSWER: We have a gorgeous bridal suite and grooms room available. You will have private entry and access to the parking lot, access to a shower, mini fridge and bar area, smart TV, WiFi and plenty of outlets, hooks, and makeup stations to get ready at! We even have a salon chair and full length mirrors for your makeup and hair artists to use.
QUESTION: Can we have our rehearsal dinner here? What about a morning-after mimosa brunch?
ANSWER: Schedule dependent, the day prior or day after may be available for rent at half that day's rental price with the exception of Saturday - our most coveted day of the week for bookings.
QUESTION: What's the cancellation policy?
ANSWER: The deposit required to reserve your date is a non-refundable retainer, to fairly compensate The Barn Out West for turning down other potential projects/clients
QUESTION: Do you have an in-house caterer or a list of "preferred" caterers, or do I need to provide my own?
ANSWER: We offer a selection of trusted and dependable vendors for our clients to choose from; however, we understand the importance of making your event unique, so the choice is ultimately up to you! We have a large prep kitchen available at no additional cost.
QUESTION: What is your alcohol policy?
ANSWER: We are a beer & wine venue, no liquor is permitted on the premises. A licensed bar tender must be utilized to serve alcohol. Your caterer may provide this option or you may wish to hire them separately.
QUESTION: Are we allowed to bring in our own decorations?
ANSWER: Absolutely. We have some restrictions to protect the integrity of the venue, and these will be provided at the venue tour or upon request.
QUESTION: Is there a separate place for cocktail hour?
ANSWER: We recommend using our outdoor covered patio for cocktail hour, with beautiful view of the Black Hills, livestock and sunset. Cocktail tables or whiskey barrels are available for an additional cost. The bar has indoor/outdoor service access and we have a large roll top door to allow guests inside once the dinner begins.
QUESTION: Is there parking on site and if so, is it complimentary?
ANSWER: Yes, we have a large parking lot and in case of overflow, there is plenty of flat pasture land to utilize
